I work part time in Bellmans, an auction house in Sussex. I love it there, it's full of inspiration with every conceivable thing coming in the door, from paintings and pots to stuffed fish and toys and from primitive art works to the tail fin of Concorde. Once I saw a beautiful collection of early European ceramic parrots. They were chipped all over but I didn't care and was desperate to buy them, but sadly I was called away on a task and missed the bidding. I went home that day and made my own in raku.
